Artist's Biography
Florida
Tony LaSeur began his working career in central Florida when he was 17, painting and sculpting in the scenic studios there for attractions like Universal Studios, MGM Studios, the Miami Zoo, Sea World, Epcot Center, the Raymond James Stadium in Tampa Bay, and others. Shortly before going to college he began to work as a freelance decorative painter and artist in addition to the work at the scenic shops.
School of Visual Arts, New York City
In 2004 he earned a BFA in illustration from the School of Visual Arts in New York City. While living in NY he took various freelance jobs, sometimes working as an assistant to decorative painter Franklin Tartaglione in private apartments and houses around New York, Connecticut, and Virginia. Since finishing school, he has been balancing Fine Art, Decorative Painting, and Illustration.
Western Maryland
For the past few years his home has been the mountains of western Maryland, and he’s been focusing mainly on murals and decorative painting. All of the images on this website are from work recently completed in Maryland, Virginia, and West Virginia.
